Old Yeller, Frank Gibson. June 6.

In this timeless classic about a boy and his dog, the story goes beyond on  much more than that. It is also a story about growing up. In this book the boy's father, (the boy is the main character ,but his name is never mentioned.) leaves to move their cattle 600 miles away. The boy is left in charge of the farm, he faces many troubles and hardships, such  as rescuing his brother from a bear, and saving themselves from rabies.
I enjoyed reading this classic and it was a very good quick read. I hope you will enjoy it. My favorite part was when they first found Old Yeller. And when they found out about him stealing food. I have not decided what to read next but i can assure you it will be good. Happy Reading!
